Pilvi Porkola is a performance artist, researcher, pedagogue and writer.

She is Doctor of Arts (D.A.), graduated at The University of Arts, Helsinki 2014.

Currently she is working as a University Researcher at the Research Institute, The University of Arts, Helsinki. Previously she has worked as a Lecturer of Theatre Pedagogy at the Theatre Academy (2022-2023), Senior Researcher in Academy of Finland’s funded project “Political Imagination and Alternative Futures” (2020-2024) at University of Turku and  Professor in Artistic Research at The University of Arts, Helsinki (2017-18) as well as Post Doctoral Researcher in the project “How to do Things with Performance?” (2016-2021).
